Difficulty
Easy
Duration
15 minute(s)
Other languages:
English • ‎français

Step 1 - Activate translation

Go to the page to be translated

Click on the ••• button (top right of the page) and choose Enable translation.

On the next page, click on the button Mark for translation

Activating translation aims to split the page into "strings" to be translated. This has the effect of adding a tag (ex: T:3) inside the page.

Step 2 - Access the page to be translated

Select the tutorial to translate (example: Changing a car wheel).

Select the language option (example: English).

Vous ne pouvez traduire la page que depuis la langue source. Si vous avez créé la page en Français, vous ne pourrez traduire que depuis le Français. Et ce, même si vous avez déjà traduit la page dans une autre langue.

Step 3 - Translate a page

  1. Select the string to be translated, then enter the translation in the target language (you can also paste a text by clicking Paste source text).
  2. Click on Save translation to validate your translation.
When translating blocks of information, copy the entire string and translate only the text.
